2. Gate Post Installation
Dig a 60-80cm deep and 30-40cm wide foundation pit (deeper for soft soil). Place the gate post in the center, adjust vertically (error ≤2mm) and fix temporarily. Pour concrete to 5-10cm above the ground, vibrate to eliminate air bubbles, and let it cure for at least 24 hours (longer in low temperature/humidity).
3. Hinge Installation
Install 2 hinges (3 for large/heavy gates) – upper 15-20cm from the gate top, lower 15-20cm from the bottom. Mark and drill matching holes, install hinges with bolts and waterproof gaskets, then adjust tightness to ensure smooth, shake-free opening and closing.
4. Fence Gate Panel Installation
Hang the gate panel by aligning its hinges with those on the post and inserting hinge pins. Check levelness and verticality, keeping a 5-10cm gap between the gate and ground. Tighten all bolts; install decorative parts (handles, locks) if needed.
