1. Site Preparation & Position Marking

Before starting the installation, thorough site preparation is the foundation to ensure the smooth progress of subsequent operations. First, clear the entire construction area, remove all obstacles such as stones, weeds, garbage and sundries that may affect the installation, and clean the ground to avoid interference with positioning and assembly. Then, use a level to check the flatness of the installation ground; if there are local uneven areas, level them with compacted gravel or cement to ensure that the guardrail posts can be fixed stably and evenly. Next, according to the design drawings and actual landscape requirements, use professional measuring tools to mark the layout range and installation position of each post. At the same time, mark the alignment lines to ensure the straightness and verticality of the entire cultural guardrail structure.

2. Guardrail Post Fixing & Installation

Guardrail post fixing and installation are core links affecting the overall stability of the cultural guardrail, and every detail needs to be strictly controlled. First, check the posts for any damage, deformation or surface coating scratches; ensure all posts and connecting accessories are intact. Then, fix the posts firmly to the foundation according to the marked positions, using expansion bolts or embedded installation for strong stability. Erect the posts vertically, adjust their verticality with a plumb line, and keep consistent spacing to match the panel size. Align the posts accurately along the marked lines to ensure a neat and beautiful overall layout.

3. Cultural Panel & Frame Assembly

After the posts are fully fixed, cultural panel and frame assembly can be carried out. First, check the decorative panels with cultural patterns for any damage, cracks or coating defects; ensure all panels are intact and meet the artistic requirements. Then, install the horizontal rails and vertical rails between the posts, and fix the cultural decorative panels in the preset positions. Connect all components firmly with high-strength bolts to form an integrated structure. Ensure the panel surface is flat and the cultural patterns are correctly displayed, which guarantees the guardrail’s stability and artistic effect.

4. Fastening & Surface Protection

Fastening and surface protection directly affect the structural integrity and service life of the cultural guardrail. First, tighten all connecting bolts evenly to ensure firm and stable connections without looseness. Reinforce the joints between posts and frames to enhance overall strength. Pay special attention to protecting the artistic surface and cultural patterns during installation to avoid scratches or collisions. Double-check all connection points to ensure no gaps or loose parts, maintaining the perfect appearance for long-term use.

5. Alignment & Stability Check

After the installation of posts and panels is completed, a comprehensive alignment and stability check is required to ensure that the installation quality meets the standards. First, use a level and plumb line to check the verticality of the posts and the straightness of the rails; verticality error should not exceed 5mm per meter, and horizontal alignment should be consistent with the design. Then, check the overall straightness and structural stability: gently push the guardrail to ensure no obvious shaking or displacement. If any problems are found (such as skewing, loose connections or misaligned panels), adjust and reinforce them immediately to ensure safety and aesthetics.

6. Site Cleaning & Final Acceptance

The final step of the installation process is site cleaning and acceptance, which ensures the artistic appearance of the guardrail and confirms that the installation is up to standard. First, remove excess materials, debris and installation tools from the construction site, and clean the surface of the cultural guardrail to maintain a neat and beautiful appearance. Then, carry out comprehensive acceptance according to the design drawings and landscape standards: check dimensions, alignment, connection firmness, surface coating and cultural pattern integrity. After the acceptance is qualified, the installation work is officially completed. If unqualified items are found, they should be rectified immediately until they meet the standards.

During the entire installation process, construction personnel should wear protective equipment to ensure construction safety. In addition, pay attention to the protection of the guardrail’s surface coating and cultural patterns during installation to avoid scratches or damage that may affect the appearance, corrosion resistance and service life of the guardrail.
