Installation Guide – Airport 358 Fence
Step 1: Site Survey & Night Planning
Coordinate with airport operations. Mark fence line after last departure.
Step 2: Post Hole Excavation
Dig holes 900mm deep for 2.4m fence (1/3 embedment). Add gravel drainage base.
Step 3: Post Setting & Rapid Cure Concrete
Set posts plumb. Pour fast-curing concrete (gain strength in 24 hours). Install flange mounts on existing paving.
Step 4: Panel Mounting (H-Post System)
Slide 358 panels into H-slots. Use rubber mallet. Secure with anti-tamper clips at top/bottom.
Step 5: Top Razor Wire & Sensor Cable (Optional)
Bolt Y-extensions. Attach concertina razor wire. Clip fiber optic cable to sensor-ready posts.
Step 6: Final Inspection & Runway Handover
Check plumb (<2mm/m), bolt torque (45 Nm), gate swing. Provide as-built drawing to airport security.
